Randall, is originally from New Hampshire, USA, and has been meditating since an early teen, and been doing intuitive readings since the late '80's.
He is a graduate of Rise Leadership's Awakening and Movement into Mastery program, and as a certified Life Coach. He is a graduate of a Native American healing program taught by Sun Bear, Randall accepted an invitation by a Native American elder to be a member of a Native American Church "in the capacity of shaman, healer and minister."
When in directing Mountain Spirit Institute, he participated in, and presented shamanic studies programs run by Juan Victor Nuñez del Prado and later, Theo Parades both of Cusco Peru. Randall led a number of groups to the remote Quero Communites high in the Andes near Ocangate/Cusco for basic shamanic and earth healing studies. He was fortunate to bring students to the Lakota Rosebud Reservation to study under the late Albert Whitehat.

He's a graduate of University of Utah, Pacific Maritime Academy, (US) and NMIT in NZ, He is former mountain guide, licensed skipper and singer/songwriter and has been a music therapist for Alzheimer patients.

He currently lives in New Zealand with his wife and 8-yr old.

WHAT'S IN A NAME
Mountain Spirit Guides was actually a concept name created by a fellow mountain guide, many years ago, and when he didn't end up using the name, I asked him if I could use it. I then created Mountain Spirit Institute, a non-profit organization, in the USA. This was long before I learned that the shamans of Peru refer to "Los Apus" or the Mountain Spirits. Some Apus are male and give strength, other mountains are female and provide nurturing. Throughout my life I've always had a close connection with mountains and nature, hence the name. We also own Mountain Spirit New Zealand, so "keeping it in the family" I decided that Mountain Spirit was good enough for this channeling site as well.
